At the end of 2024, we began preparations for the weekly Marjan Club, which continued until the summer of 2025.
In September 2025, Marjan Arabic School was launched to provide a unique educational and pedagogical experience for a larger segment of our beloved children in Manchester.
At Marjan Arabic School, children learn Arabic and the Holy Quran and participate in activities that reinforce Islamic morals and help them develop their various skills, all in interactive ways and using games and innovative methods appropriate to the level of each group.
In teaching Arabic, we use the interactive Alif Ba Ta website (website link), where we select the appropriate educational material for each level.
Each student receives a free account on the website to continue learning at home during the week.

In Quran classes, we select surahs appropriate for each level, which the children learn through a combination of interactive and direct methods, instilling the meanings and words of the surah in their hearts and minds.
In the first semester, advanced students studied Surah Al-Naba and Surah Al-Naziat, while intermediate students studied Surah Al-Alaq and Surah Al-Tariq. Beginners learned a number of short surahs. In Islamic ethics, we focus on using stories, real-life examples, and crafts, along with learning verses and hadiths that are appropriate for children. Older students learn the Ahsan Al-Akhlaq (Good Manners) system (Sara video), while the rest of the students learn a selection of prophetic hadiths. Every week, students practise a group art activity to develop their artistic sense and promote harmony among them.
At Marjan Arabic School, we are keen to provide an educational system that makes children love the Arabic language and balances scientific, educational and entertaining content.
