A multi-faceted initiative aimed at bringing the Arabic language closer to our sons and daughters and strengthening their attachment to it.
Marjan Initiative
The Marjan Initiative was launched in 2024 with the aim of strengthening the Arab identity of our sons and daughters and developing their Arabic language skills. To this end, it offers a variety of programmes that help children and young people learn Arabic and develop their communication and social skills in flexible and engaging ways.
Sections of Marjan Initiative
Marjan Arabic School in Manchester
Children meet every Sunday to develop their language and social skills in a supportive environment through diverse and innovative activities. Children learn Arabic, the Holy Quran, and Islamic ethics, and participate in various artistic and cultural activities.
Marjan Weekly Forum
A community space that combines education and entertainment, encouraging reading and communication in Arabic.
Arabic Story Club
A virtual club for developing children's communication skills, instilling a love for the Arabic language, and promoting positive values.
Online Courses
Various courses aimed at young people and children to teach them Arabic and Quranic concepts and develop their communication and discussion skills in Arabic.
